3/12/2008 - AFS-THA Annual Staff Retreat 2008
This year, AFS Thailand organized the trip further south to Trang. The trip started from evening of November 26, 2008, and returned to Bangkok early morning of Sunday. Trang was on the coast of Andaman Sea. This area was also affected by Tsunami disaster in 2004.
As soon as the team arrived in Trang, AFS Trang chapter leading by Mr. Wichet Jingjit (Vice Chapter President), Mrs. Janthanee Jingjit (Chapter Coordinator), and AFS Trang volunteers greeted AFS team at the train station. After the meet & greet and enjoy Trang style breakfast, roasted pork and Dim Sum, AFS team went straight to Pak-Meng beach for the boat-ride to Hai island.
On the island, we all enjoy the outdoor activities, such as beach football, beach chair-ball, dart shooting and snorkeling. The activities aimed to motivate and strengthen the bond among staff members and enhance AFS spirit.
After spending 3 days and 2 nights on the island, the team headed back to Bangkok by train and arrived at 8:00am on November 30, 2008.
The Staff Retreat is a spirit buildup for all AFS-THA staff after a full long year of hardworking and dedication. Everyone had a wonderful time and it had brought the unity and friendship to all AFS-THA staff.
