30/11/2007 - THA - AFS Thailand celebrates 45th anniversary
AFS Thailand has started its first operation since 1962. On November 29th, 2007, the special event celebrating AFS Thailand 45th anniversary and AFS International 60th Anniversary hosted by Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of AFS Thailand, and Mr. Francisco Tachi Cazal, AFS International President, was specially organized.
Distinguished guests were invited to the luncheon at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, Bangkok. The guest of honor was H.E. Mr. Paiboon Wattanasiritham, Deputy Prime Minister. Invited guests were H.E. Mr. Ralph Boyce, Ambassador of USA; H.E. Mr. Filipe Frydman, Ambassador of Argentina; H.E. Mr. Andras Balogh, Ambassador of Hungary; H.E. Mr. Pieter Marres, Ambassador of the Netherlands; H.E. Mr. Vasil Pytel, Ambassador of Slovakia; Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, Secretary General of ASEAN; AFS Partner Board Members and Partner Directors, and AFS-THA Board Members and returnees.
The function was perfectly organized and brought great impressions to all the invited guests at the event.
