5/12/2007 - ISUZU Group Foundation granted scholarship to AFS Thailand Students

Mr. Bin Sato, AAI President, Japan; Mr. Morikazu Chokkai, President of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd.; Mrs. Rosemary Whitcraft, Consultant, AFS-THA CSP; Piyawan Srisaha, AFS staff.

The Isuzu Group Foundation granted the scholarship to AFS Thailand to support a Thai student participating in AFS 2009-2010 Year Program to Japan. This effort had come from the AAI (AFS Asia-Pacific Initiative) by Mr. Bin Sato and AFS Thailand Consultant, Scholarships and Funds Program by Mrs. Rosemary Whitcraft.
Mr. Morikazu Chokkai, President of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd. presented the scholarship to AFS Thailand on 30 November, 2007, at the Tripetch Isuzu head office building. A previous year, Isuzu had given scholarship of US$1,000 for pocket money to one of AFS Thailand participant to Japan. This year, Isuzu Group Foundation, Corporate Foundation for Education, has given a full scholarship including pocket money in the amount of THB 400,000 to one of AFS Thailand participants in 2009-2010 Year Program to Japan.
