29/12/2007 - Welcome our new Sending Programs Director

AFS Thailand is pleasant to announce the appointment of our new Sending Programs Director, Ms. Chirawatana Charoenpatarapong (Chim). Chirawatana joined the organization in 2005 starting with the position of “sending coordinator” responsible for students’ visa applications. In the same year, her new responsibility shifted to counseling on support matters as well as being in charge of short programs students. The following year, she had taken more responsibility involving other sending department related matters; for instance, orientations and preparations for YPscSH & YPscNH students. Later, she was promoted to become Sending Program Operations Manager. After Mrs. Suwanee Sienglai’s retirement, Chirawatana has been promoted to the position of Sending Programs Director as of January 1st, 2008.
