11/2/2008 - AFS-THA participants to Argentina met with H.E. The Ambassador.

24 AFS-THA participants to Argentina in YPscSH08 and two Argentine participants had a great honor to receive the invitation from His Excellency Mr. Felipe Frydman, the Embassador of Argentina, to join high-tea at his Excellency’s residence on February 11th, 2008.
His Excellency Mr. Frydman welcomed all participants and introduced Argentina briefly to students who would be spending their one year as exchange students in Argentina and scheduling to leave on February 13th, 2008. His Excellency also used this opportunity to meet and greet with two Argentine exchange students, Ms. Valentina Paviolo (studied at Ratch-Orot School) and Mr. Francisco Joaquin Sprend (studied at Wat Khema Pitaram) who completed their program and returned to Argentina recently.
AFS-THA participants to Argentina had a wonderful time and gained more knowledge and understanding about the new environment they were going to live. On the other hand, two exchange students from Argentina had expressed their wonderful experience living with their Thai host families and friends, and how their perception had changed over the year. This was the third year that His Excellency had invited AFS participants to his residence.
