21/7/2007 - AFS Thailand returnee’s football tournament
AFS Thailand and Friends of AFS organized a Football tournament at Sara-wittaya School Bangkok. The football tournament and outdoor activities were aimed to create harmony and unity among AFS returnees.
Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, AFS Thailand Chairman; Mr. Santi Songsermsawas, AFS Board of Director; Mrs. Maleeratana Pleumchitchom, Board of Trustees; and Mr. Apithai Buranasiri, AFS National Director also attended the event.
The organizers divided the returnees from AFS NH, SH and USA into 3 teams. Each team would have to organize their own cheering team and techniques. There were also other games and activities for all participants, such as “tuck-a-war” and “sack race”, to add more color to the event.
AFS Football tournament ended successfully. Every participant, both AFS returnees and staffs, had a great time. AFS Thailand Activity Department had achieved the objective of building the harmony and unity among AFS returnees, Friends of AFS and AFS Thailand once again.
