25/7/2008 - Post Orientation YPscNH07
All Thai students (YPscNH07) successfully returned home. The Post Orientations were held at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel for all participants.
Ms. Chirawatana Charoonpatarapong, Sending Programs Director addressed a warm welcome home speech, followed by Mrs. Rujira Kunsong, Sending Programs Manager, talking about re-adjustment back to Thai culture, society, and school.
Additionally, the resource persons from the Bureau of Education Testing, Ministry of Education, were invited to give special advised regarding the procedure of credit transfer and education equivalency certification to participations.
The participants from different countries shared their fun experiences and also the troubles that they conquered over the year in their host countries. Each participant received the certificate of completion from AFS Thailand presented by our Sending Programs Director.
Almost one year apart, each parent was grateful to welcome their children back to their homes and families. The program could not be success without the parents’ support and patience. This was the important part of the event.
Last but not least, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all partners for their hard works, supports, co-operations, and contributions through the year 2007-2008. The operation could not be complete and successful without theirs and local volunteers’ assistances who put the best efforts for the great benefits of our Thai students.
